Will the draw still go ahead even if all the tickets aren’t sold?
The draw will still go ahead even if there are tickets remaining when the competition closes. If a competition does not sell out, you have a better chance of winning due to there being less entrants! We will never extend the closing date simply to sell more tickets.
How long is the competition open for?
The opening and closing date of the competitions are stated on the website. We will never extend the closing date, simply to sell more tickets. If the competition sells out before the draw date, we may bring the draw forward so that you can find out if you’re the lucky winner as soon as possible.
Can anyone enter the competition?
The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom only who are 18 years or older. We do not accept entries from anyone outside of these areas as the laws for running competitions vary. This competition has been organised to comply with the laws of England, and Wales. Employees of Viking Competitions Ltd, members of their immediate family, our suppliers, and immediate family members of any of our suppliers cannot enter our competitions.
How is the winner decided?
The tickets are entered into a random draw. We use the https://www.random.org Multi-Round Giveaway service to pick our winning number(s). An unforgeable verification code is generated once the draw is completed so that you can verify the results of the draw for yourself if you wish to. The results of the draw are stored by random.org for 30 days. The randomness used in the draw comes from atmospheric noise, which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs.
How will I know if I have won?
We will notify the winner via email within 7 days of the closing date of the competition. If you change any of your contact details prior to the closing date, please let us know by sending an email to [email protected]. If we cannot reach you within 21 days of the closing date we reserve the right to choose another winner and you will lose your right to claim the prize.
When will I receive my prize?
We aim to despatch prizes within 5 working days of successfully contacting the prize winner, but this may be longer during holidays and busy periods. If you haven’t received your prize within 3 weeks of being contacted, let us know at [email protected] so we can investigate.
Can I sell the prize if I don’t want it?
If you are the winner, the prize will be yours. You can do whatever you wish with it, including selling it.
What do I do if I haven’t received an email confirming my entry?
If you haven’t received an email from us confirming your entry, please check your spam/junk folder. If it is not in there, please email us at [email protected] so we can look into it for you.
